Amber Heard Shatters Theory Against Abuse Allegations

''When Amber Heard filed for divorce from Johnny Depp, citing his allegedly abusive behavior, critics were quick to argue that she fabricated the accusations to win a big financial settlement.

On Thursday, Heard issued a statement to anyone who claimed she was only in it for the money.

Heard announced in a statement on Thursday that she will donate her entire $7 million divorce settlement to the Children's Hospital of of Los Angeles and the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), "with a particular focus to stop violence against women," Mashable reported. Heard accused Depp of domestic violence during their separation, and critics famously accused her of possibly lying about the abuse allegations just to get money from Depp. In June, Heard withdrew her spousal support request in fear that it would "distract and divert the public away from the very real issue of domestic violence," she stated in court papers at the time...''
