Bear, lion and tiger make an 'affectionate', 'gentle' family in US animal sanctuary
''The most unlikely of friends have become an inseparable trio in an animal sanctuary in the US state of Georgia.
A bear, lion and tiger, dubbed BLT, were rescued and brought to Noah's Ark Animal Sanctuary when they were very young.
Baloo the American black bear, Leo the African lion and Shere Khan the Bengal tiger arrived in 2001 after being discovered by police officers in a basement of an Atlanta home during a drug raid."
At only a few months old, all three cubs were frightened, malnourished, and infected with internal and external parasites when the Georgia Department of Natural Resources called us and then brought them to Noah's Ark," sanctuary curator Allison Hedgecoth told the ABC...''
