In the past month I have spoken at length to each of my 3 siblings about whether our artistic pursuits are really the greatest service we can offer the world.
As a music producer, my younger brother, TJ was wrestling with this question as he helped me clean up our back yard. We both agreed that serving others is the most meaningful purpose we can engage with, but does art really do enough for the world?
To be sure, this is a fair and noble question, but it can easily be misguided and misguiding.
